Description

The RAISE Happy School Summer Program is a volunteer-driven educational and outreach project led by RAISE, a student-founded organization dedicated to creating inclusive learning experiences for underprivileged or medically challenged youth. In this special summer initiative, RAISE visited Happy School, a school dedicated to supporting children diagnosed with leukemia, providing fulfilling activities and English lessons.

Throughout the program, RAISE volunteers taught basic English through engaging, play-based methods designed to fit the children’s learning pace and emotional needs. Lessons included vocabulary games, storytelling, and team activities that encouraged participation and built confidence. In addition to English learning, the team conducted a variety of creative and energetic activities such as arts and crafts, group games, and mini-performances, creating a vibrant and supportive environment where every child felt valued and included.

The program not only aimed to provide educational enrichment but also focused on emotional well-being, bringing joy, hope, and connection to children who often face long and difficult medical journeys. The RAISE Happy School Summer Program stands as a testament to the power of youth-led compassion and the impact of education when combined with empathy and creativity.
